< May Stitchin Update >
I want to apologize in advance for the poor quality pics in this post.
All we've had here in Upstate, SC is clouds and rain for the past week.
I finally finished the last 2 of Cathy Jean's Woodland Babies. The #1 leaflet has 3 , and the 4th one is from the 2011 JCS Ornament Issue. I had planned to have them all done up in the tin and ready to hang on my ornament tree, but alas, I have forgotten where I stashed the tins. :( Hopefully I'll come across them soon. I still have 4 more to do. #2 Woodland Babies Leaflet, which has 3 more, and the last is in the 2012 JCS Ornament Issue.

I also completed A Sweet Stitch by Sue Hillis. I purchased this leaflet, fabric, tin and threads at Cecilia's in Branson, Mo back in 2010. I'm trying my best to work on projects that I've had kitted for a long time and still want to stitch. Of course, I had to change the flower colors to Purples :)

I also got all the Back-stitching done on Spring Quilt. I just love how it turned out...
My Good friend Laurel stitched this purple heart for me last year, or maybe the year b-4....Anyway, she brought it to me on along with the box and another small stitched piece ( finishing at a later date).
I stained the box, added purple felt to the interior, and found the matching trim to finish the top off nicely. Thanks Laurel for your Sweet gift. Sorry it took me so long to get it finished off...
I also stitched a small kit that my friend Fran sent to me. I had to add Violet to the leaf.
I just couldn't resist.
I have a couple more small projects that I'm working on, and hope to get started on SC Summer Quilt in the next few days.
Be sure to stop by the Stitcher's Gallery tab and see the 2 finishes I added stitched by TARA.
I've also added the May Freebie Challenge to the Freebie Tab.
Enjoy!!!
